Cycle Specific Strength & Conditioning Training
Support your cycle training with strength and conditioning exercises in our Personal Training Studios in Oxshott, Teddington and Putney.
Cycling may mainly involve using the legs but your core strength and overall flexibility play a big part in maintaining a balanced posture on the bike. Strengthening and correcting your overall balance ensures maximum power through the crank and improves your overall efficiency on the bike.
Personal Training Packages include a structural and functional assessment by our Osteopath or Physiotherapist and the personal training sessions involve exercises aimed and correcting the imbalances highlighted in their report.Lactate Threshold Testing can be included.

Using projected Sufferfest video footage of actual cycle race routes with a phenomenal soundtrack our accomplished and experienced cyclists take you through a structured interval training workout. In any given session you may be time-trialling with Bradley Wiggins, facing the cobbles of the Paris Roubaix route or racing to the top of an iconic climb in the Alps or Pyrenees.
Many of our participants use our indoor cycling sessions as training for cycle tours or sportives. Particularly ideal for winter training or as a supplement to your road cycling training schedule.
Your own pedals can be fixed to our bikes if you’d prefer that to trainers and straps.
Free Cycle Club
We meet on Sunday mornings at The Personal Training Centre in Oxshott, Surrey and we head off into the Surrey hills.
Climbs include: Boxhill, Leith Hill, Ranmore Common, White Down, Bar Hatch etc
Set off time and duration varies on the time of year and what the group are training for.

Road Cycle Coaching
Improve your confidence in cycling on the road in traffic and in a group.
In two separate or combined 60min sessions (one off-road and the other on road) you British Cycling accredited coach and experienced cyclist will take you through the following:
– Core bike handling skills
– Gear slection
– Cornering & balancing
– Road positioning and awareness
– Clipping in and out of your cleats safely
– Group communication and etiquette

Bike Maintenance & Repair - Free Collection & Return
Have your bicycle maintained or repaired at Pure Motion Cycles in West Byfleet, Surrey and we will safely collect and return your bicycle for free within a 15mile radius of Cobham.

Lactate Threshold Testing
Your Lactate Threshold is the point at which your rate of lactate removal from the muscles cannot keep up with rate of lactate production during exercise and your efficiency starts to decrease.
This threshold can be tested and improved upon through correct training.
